2019 Rockport Harvestfest – Fall In Love With Cape Ann
Let’s set the scene. Ok, so Labor Day weekend is in the rearview mirror, Summer went by too fast (as per usual) and now you’re looking for a way to embrace fall and come to terms with the impending cold and darkness that comes with living in New England.
Don’t fret, there is still time. Hold your head up, throw on your sharpest flannel, pick up a pumpkin spice latte, and come embrace fall with your fellow beleaguered New Englanders at the 2019 Rockport Harvestfest.
The 2019 Rockport Harvestfest takes place Saturday, October 19th from 10am to 5pm right in the heart of downtown Rockport Massachusetts and is really a can’t miss as far as fall festivals go. When Rockport throws a party, they do it right.
The annual festival features live music, local craft beer and wine, lobster, chowder, locally grown produce, cooking demonstrations, and a variety of contests and family activities. You will have the opportunity to witness a lobster being pardoned and may even get an appearance by the infamous teetotaler, Hannah Jumper.
The quaint coastal village of Rockport provides the perfect backdrop for the event and offers a great opportunity to embrace everything that Cape Ann has to offer, even in the fall. You will be able to stroll through all the shops and artist galleries, eat at local restaurants, and don’t worry the pumpkin patches and apple orchards will be there next weekend.
