A newcomer to the Rockport dining scene, Feather and Wedge was opened in 2016 by friends Stephen Smit and Charles Gladstone. The establishment offers casual fine dining with locally sourced ingredients.
It was a welcomed addition to the local dining scene which includes local favorites like Roy Moore’s Fish Shack, Brackett’s Oceanview, and My Place By The Sea.
The cuisine at Feather and Wedge is refined yet accessible and certainly plays on the rich seafood heritage of Rockport. The menu changes regularly and showcases the chef’s creativity and versatility.

“Have been to F&W twice now, and both visits were wonderful experiences. The location and atmosphere is very nice, nestled in Rockport Center with decor referencing Rockport’s past as a quarry town. The food is of high quality, and the well prepared & presented with interesting and flavorful options. The service is efficient, yet not rushed, serves to create a relaxed experienced, even when the smallish dining room is full. “Location downtown. Parking challenging. Food worthwhile. Modest menu with excellent options. We savored the pork chop and tuna. Owner Steven (sp)? Is a true gentleman and stayed close to his customers. Lyla was a terrific waitstaff – efficient, attentive and very thoughtful.
