Successful Inaugural Clambake at Rockport, MA Hotel
Well folks, the mercury is sitting at 76 degrees here at our Rockport, MA Hotel and it’s nothing but blue skies ahead through this beautiful fall weekend. But it is indeed fall.
To usher our Summer, we held our inaugural Summer Closeout Clambake last weekend. Mother nature agreed it was an appropriate undertaking and provided us to 80 degree and sunny weather for the occasion. One last swan song before we move on to Halloween and the holidays.
Addison Choate guests and attendees were treated to a nautical bounty including some tasty stuffed clams from the Eclectic Clam, steamers bathed in white wine and garlic, and some beautiful lobsters from Captain Joe himself. We had an absolute blast and are definitely looking forward to make this annual event.
Guests were serenaded by the sweet sounds of Mike Forgette. Mike is a Gloucester native and runs the Acoustic night at Minglewood Harboside and plays with up and coming Reggae Rock band Over the Bridge.
Keep an eye out next August and September for details on the second annual Addison Choate Clambake. For now we are going to look forward to the Rockport Harvest Fest and the some haunted happenings for Halloween. We look forward to seeing you at our Rockport, MA Hotel soon!
